Our Pricing Model:
After years of trying different billing models we have evolved to our preferred way of working which is to get you things at cost and then charge a fee of 30%. This is a clear transparent way of working that has been very popular with our clients. Our unique economics also make us an affordable interior design option for every budget:
If an item retails for $2,500 and our cost is $1,000, even with the 30% fee the client does much better than they could on their own and more importantly gets our help.
Our Sourcing Advantage:
Most of our competitor's source mainly out of New York. While we love and use the D&D Building in NYC, markups can be stratospheric. We get most items directly from the manufacturer. We are able to do this because we do more volume than most furniture stores. We know of no other interior design firm with this capacity.
Again with our model we do not have showroom or retail overhead, therefore we are able to provide our clients with more affordable interior design options than other firms. Also we love offbeat sources, eBay, small artisans here and abroad, auctions, antiques, vintage, etc.
Master Plan:
Another way we help our clients achieve an affordable interior design is with a long-term plan. This plan is often implemented in phases. Choice #12 effects choice #2. Let's have it all on paper before you order.
We are brilliant at repurposing your existing furnishings and making small updates, i.e. rearranging, recovering, paint, lamps, art accessories and other new items to transform spaces on a phase I budget. Personalized budgets are created for every project
